Guest guest
I have a question regarding this issue but it may be helpful if someone replies to it-can you give an aromatherapy massage by using a massage oil with no eo's added and diffusing the essential oils into the air? From what I've read here the eo's work through inhalation, not skin absorbtion. So, is it possible to work in a well ventilated room with a low concentration of oils simmering close to or perhaps on the floor close to the person receiving the massage so they can inhale the oils during the massage but the aromatherapist isn't touching them and maybe inhaling a lower concentration of them? Guest guest
PS-the reason I ask this is because I remember reading (here, I think) that the aromatherapist inhales much more of the eo during the massage than the person receiving the massage as the vapors are rising to the practitioner during the massage.
