Guest guest
Join Vaidya Mishra in Celebrating Women's Shakti and Health September 19-28, 2009 at the Prana Center in California this runs about the same time as the Dyana Center's special pulse classes - tough call. Vaidya Mishra is a master teacher and practitioner, with many generations lineage behind him in the Ayurvedic profession. Though covering each topic in an afternoon, it is material I consider ordering by tape; I always lean deliciously from his talks. To be there would be a personally very powerful experience! It is my desire to have all these options on a calendar for students of women and children's health and ayurveda to review and choose from. There are not nearly enough of such offerings for the need! Namaste; Ysha Greetings! Woman as the embodiment of cosmic love and power is celebrated every year, in India, during 9 nights and a day. This special festival is called Navaratri (literally, nine nights). Each night is dedicated to one aspect of Mother Divine. In vedic lore, Lord Ram worshipped and invoked Mother Divine in his battle against Ravanna, the demon who was attempting to overthrow the order of the world. This year, celebrate Navaratri and the loving power of Woman with Vaidya Mishra from September 19-28, 2009. Navaratri celebrations begin on the first day (pratipada) of the bright forthnight of the lunar month of Ashwin. The tenth day is celebrated as the day of victory, or vijayadashmi. We have a special program for you: Morning sessions (8:30am-11:00am PST) Celebrating and awakening 9 aspects of Mother Divine through Sanskrit Chants Vaidya Mishra was initiated and trained by his grandfather Pundit Digambar Mishra into the Navaratri Chandi Paath rituals.
