Just received this good explanation from a vedic astrologer Blaine -

who organize yagyas with him. He has over 500 pandits working in India full time

for the good of the world in this way. He passes the testimonials along to me

and I haven't forwarded them but this one was particularly sweet. Everyone

always asks me how these yagyas work and what is involved. It would fill a

thesis to explain the whole thing but in a nutshell, they are essentially

vibration engineering.

The pandits are chanting mantras or sounds that have specific vibrations

associated with the current need(s) of the person having the yagya performed.

The reason they can work by proxy (you don't have to be there) is because of the

vibrational nature of them. The pandits have your chart, know your name and

where you are and on the level of intention (again a vibration) perform the

yagya in your name.

The medium for sound vibration is always space alias akaasha. Our bodies are

primarily made of space. And it is all the same space so a vibration made on

your behalf with you in mind (thought is just a subtler version of sound) can

find you anywhere you are in space and time. Clear? Mud? this is the reader's
