Taught by DeAnna Batdorff of The dhyana Center of Health Sciences

 

Learn ancient tools under-utilized in modern midwifery.

Learn new approaches to decrease transports and interventions!

 

Presented in accessible language that you can immediately apply to your

practice. (one of DeAnna's specical gifts to clients and students).

 

Learn to address symptomology using the doshas: vata, pitta, kapha, and utilize

traditional ayurvedic tools in addressing issues such as:

 

Group Beta Strep

Post Dates

Gestational Diabetes

Pain

Pre-ecclampsia

Emesis

Ineffective contractions

Herpes

Fetal Positioning

Hemorrhage

Dehydration

Meconium

Failure to Progress

Hypertension

 

Participants will learn to utilize traditional tools such as cuppings, gua sha,

hot compress, reading tongue and skin, and psychological aspects of the client,

as well as clinical aromatherapy to keep a client's lymphatic system moving and

create an optimum birth experience.

 

Cost: $250 after May 10th. Additional fee for CEUs.

 

Full kitchen available for meal preparation; Bring your own food.

 

DeAnna Batdorff is the founder of The dhyana Center, an Ayurvedic/Tibetan

practitioner, and clinical aromatherapist. She has done extensive studies in

bodywork techniques, nutrition, herbalogy, and childbirth support. She had been

working with birth for 15 years.
