He says “…and who knows what other things nature has put in there. The mother’s first milk has colostrum in it. So it is full of all kinds of antibodies which will protect the child for several weeks until their own immune system develops. So who knows what may come in if it is left attached…” Same argument applies for other surgeries where organs are removed and we really do not know what happens if we remove an organ from our body. Look at hysterectomies that are performed so frequently. I feel we should wait for some more time before deciding to remove an important organ from our body. Surgery should be done when it is absolutely necessary. I have seen many patients where the uterus and ovaries were saved with conservative treatment with ayurveda.
