Guest guest
we will want to keep in mind the context of pathogenesis - Part 2 Pathogenesis or 6 Stages of Disease Manifestation In simple terms, with Abnormal Digestion we have >>> Increased Waste >>> Obstruction of Body Channels >>> Feeds Pathogens >>> Dis Ease Spelled out in more clinical terms, Ayurveda identifies 6 stages. Each doshic (one of three governing metabolic principle types) imbalance can be observed in terms of the 6 stages. Candis Packard's excellent article in the Vol 1, Issue 4, Summer 2003 issue of Light on Ayurveda details beautifully for students how this can look and be applied. Note that stages one and two take place in the digestive system. (Kapha in the stomach, pitta in the small intestine, and vata in the colon). Experiences such as accidents, poisons, etc can quickly move one into more advanced stages. 1. Accumulation 2. Aggravation, provoked 3. Overflow, spread 4. Relocation, depositing 5. Manifestation – can be labeled, usually where Allopathic can give a name to the problem 6. Diversification, complications – damage to organs as in rheumatoid arthritis In your service, YSha > What foods " make " mucous, and what may make the body prone to rash? > This is part 1 of article written for my family forum and in the
