Namaskar Group,

Dr. Bhate sent a link for a wonderful acupressure chart recently. It showed

points to work

that can assist in increasing milk production. I forwarded it to a client and

the link did not

transmit in a usable form. When I went to search my own personal files it had

been deleted.

And, as I go to this groups files, I realize that I do not know how to search

these files.

Would somebody please resend the link Dr. Bhate sent?

Also, Ysha, can you instruct us in how to search old files? I see numerous

groupings, but it

looks like they are old. Is there a way to type in a word, subject or author

and have the site

provide a list?

Thank you for this wonderful group. And, in advance, I thank whoever can help

me now.

Warmly,

Jivani (aka Kim Luchau)

Hi Jivani -

Are you able to give her a gentle repetitive oil massage, abhyanga

style? THis wouldhelp so much, accompanied with warm oil, warm room,

warm towels, hot water bottles also while she rests afterwards at

least half hour (baby can join of course), then 20 min hot bath...hot

teas and warm unctuous foods all foundational. Also shatavari kalpa

or some version of shatavari with probably some pippali or ginger in

hot milk or almond milk would be so good too. Here is what I kept

from that email, maybe it is repeat. I didn't copy the chart,

apparently, so if link doesn't work any longer here we are, still good

See related messages in this # range on herbs etc.

1. On the midline of the chest, beween 4th and 5th rib

2. On the top of the shoulder, a distance between one to two inches

from the side of the neck

3. ON the top of the foot, in the valley between smallest and fourth

toes, midway between the separation between the toes and where the

foot joins the legs

4. about three centimeters above the separation between the biggest

and second toes, on the top side of the foot.

5. 4.5 cemtimeter from the spine midline, between L1 and L2

vertebrae, 3 centimeter above the waist line.

The locations above are approximate and a better location can be

pinpointed by soreness at the point. Just knowing the points is just

10% of the work. The amount of pressure, the frequecy, the spread of

the area about the marma point and length of time for which pressure

is applied rhythmically is all the skill one can learn only after

experience and meditation. When a healer touches the body of the

patient, the energy exchange is automatic, unless healer has no

compassion for the patient. And by concentrating the mind, by guiding

the energy flow, the healer is able to send adequate energy into the

channels of the receiving person. Pulse reading, marma manipulation

are arts acquired after years of concentrated efforts.

Author shared the info which is easily transferable so that at least

few babies in future need not be deprived of milk.

I hpe this helps?

Blessings,

Ysha
