Hi Y'all -

Two days ago I've returned from visits to Colorado where studies with

Dr. Shrestha expanded my repertoire on Ayurveda for fertility and

pregnancy, and private review of some of our training notes brought

refinements and updates to be shared soon with those using the

postpartum herbals notes. Dr. Shrestha also taught 2 days on Ayurveda

for problems with Infants and Children, which Sonya attended and

hopefully will share more.

We did 3 sessions also on the breath practices to support trauma

release as taught by Dr. Lad - it seems many want to learn these and

Dr. Lad asked us at his weekend workshop on Ayurveda for Trauma (last

Feb/annual) to practice them for a month and then to please share. So

9 people on short notice asked for this. It is a valuable discussion

when there is time we can go into some of the points around it.

In Idaho we visited the Idaho mountain lavender and melissa farm of

YOung Living essential oils, deepening understanding of the issues

around growing and distilling essential oils which make big

differences in quality. OH, the fields were so heavenly to see - and

smell! When the wind comes up, the plant draws its oils back in so

one doesn't smell much, and that is one of the times that is not a

good time to harvest for best yield. THe distillery area includes a

hot tub which they fill with the floral waters - the condensed steam

that carried the eoil out of the distiller which carried some

properties of the lavender - and that room smelled amazing amazing. A

friend with knee damage handicap spend about 45 minutes in the waters

and benefitted greatly - her whole system you could see!

Anyway, this am I took the time to read parts of a prolific digest

from an eoils group which included a long story on baby at 6 months

still with problems with weight gain and unusual medical issues,

benefitting greatly from this Chinese fruit's many medicinal

properties. The species and location of growing seem to make a

difference. If anyone wants to see this info, let me know.

Warm Regards,

Ysha
