Guest guest
Hello, So I just finished my pancha karma. I was feeling amazing and then the last two days I came down with a nasty cold. For those who know, could this be a part of the purification? It sort of feels that way strangely enough. I really enjoyed the pancha karma and was bummed to come down with a cold ( I haven't been sick for awhile). Thanks in advance...and besides taking my ashwaganda in my milk tonic at night, any other suggestions for the post pancha karma for a vata lady?! As for the birth trauma, I recommend home birth as an antidote to the trauma that hospital birth can sometimes acquire. This coming from a midwifery student about to take her boards in a couple of months (and a homebirth mama myself!). No bias! Countless homebirth moms will tell me again and again how this is nothing like hospital birth, so much gentler and respectful and empowering! Thanks, Shannon Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
Guest guest
Hi Shannon - Please tell in detail what your routine was like the last few days of your pK? When did you start taking a milk tonic and herbs again - after the cold cleared? Agree with you on healing of the emotions from an unsatisfying birth experience clearing with a good one (no matter how hard the work still is). Congratulations on being so close to completing your midwifery training! Ysha > Hello, > So I just finished my pancha karma.
