Hello everyone!

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and how I am

connected to the Ysha and perinatal ayurveda. I'm a happy mama of 2

beautiful boys, the first being 9 years old and the second a mere 8

months old. I had my recent baby in Boulder, Co and fortunately

before I gave birth I had a friend mention a postpartum ayurdoula in

the area. Since I bled quite a bit with my first child I thought I

might need a little TLC after the birth, not to mention that my

husband had just landed a teaching position at Northern Arizona

University and we would be moving 10 days after the baby was born.

CRAZY!! I met Sonya who studied under Ysha and we clicked. She was a

Godsend. I hemorraged severely after my baby's birth and lost so much

blood that I was a hair away from a transfusion. She cooked, massaged

and provided the much needed help both physically and emotionally. On

her last visit she mentioned how her teacher Ysha lived (at the time)

only 35 minutes from where we were moving. When we arrived at our new

home I quickly called Ysha because I was still in some bad shape and

the baby was definitely colicky (due to the move). She came to our

house and immediately I felt relaxed knowing that I was in the hands

of truly gifted and inspiring woman. The knowledge she had imparted

on me and my family was priceless. The massages were incredible and

my hip which almost dislocated during birth, was mended by her body

work and aromatherapy. The food, oh the food.....Amazing. My baby

responded almost immediately and the colic was gone. I had such a

rewarding experience during those precious early weeks postpartum with

both of these woman that I have been considering learning more about

this beautiful healing modality to share with other women someday.

First I have plenty to do with my own babies..:-)
