Guest guest
Well, I am certainly not doing it alone although I sometimes feel alone. I think pretty much everyone who is helping has IDed me as the leader of it. We are getting more endorsements but what I really need are some people willing to help me - 1) join the so you can stay up to date, and 2) sign the petition, call and fax the senate and 3) try to help me get more awareness and more publicity and more endorsements. " Is this true, Amy? And how are you doing with that HUGE undertaking? I must have tweaked her interest on her forum *0) She's brand new to Ayurveda. Who else is brand new to Ayurveda? please share! Guest guest
HI Amy; I've encouraged everyone in this direction too, as they will, and want to honor our core purpose on this forum to nurture you with the backup that is so dearly needed also, the alternatives to the meds and dangerous legal protocols. Without the knowledge and quality of care that prevents and reverses the " postpartum mood disorders " , how far can any of this political activism go? The truth is, out culture is so out of balance in dietary and lifestyle issues around postnatal needs (including the levels of petrochemicals accumulating in tissues) that without powerful focus on education for why one gets depressed physiologically, and how to best support/correct mothers, the problem will continue to increase even without the harmful side effects of those meds, AMy. WHen you have the time, I hope you will enjoy looking thru the files and archived posts. So much has been shared already! And we have midwives, doulas, doctors, researchers, nurses, certified and licensed Ayurvedic practitioners as well as at least 2 other dynamic political activists *-) if they are tuned in - who are members in the conversations. And of course mothers new to Ayurveda like you.
