Guest guest
hi everyone, just thought i would post a little clip of a conversation i had with a woman in siingapore about postpartum practices that she has personally experienced, enjoy! Hi Noel, I think your doula is our Eastern equivalent of a confinement lady. Yes, when i gave birth to my 2nd boy, I got a confinement lady who stayed in our house for a whole one month, to help with marketing, cooking, looking after the newborn, a little bit of housecleaning, etc. She's a great help, cooking confinement dishes which had lots of ginger, sesame oil and wine to help chase away 'wind' in the mum's body
