Guest guest
Is it ok to give the post partum massage to a person who is on blood thinners? thanks, Sonya
Guest guest
Hi Sonya; Not having been asked this b4, I haven't asked up. Knowing the gentleness and lymphatic support, the deeply relaxing and gently cleansing effects of this particular massage, it seems likely to work in harmony with the purpose of the blood thinners all around. If it were me on the table, I wouldn't hesitate to receive, but this is a question for the vaidya also. Ysha > Is it ok to give the post partum massage to a person who is on blood > thinners? Guest guest
Hi, I feel it is okay to give gentle massage. I have seen in a few patients with hypocoagulable state who received massage who had bruises(due to little bleeding under the skin). But I agree with Ysha that gentle massage should work in harmony with the purpose of blood thinners. Vd.
