This program gives the student foundational and experiential introduction to Ayurvedic concepts and applies them to the unique needs after childbirth. Classes will include Ayurvedic Philosophy & Nutrition, Foundations of Postpartum Care and Cooking, Perinatal Essential Oils and Post-Natal Yoga. Course Fee: $1,295.00 - ($500 deposit to reserve your spot, plus $795 due 30 days before class begins). The course has a limited number of participants, so please reserve early. Registration form. No prerequisites although those wishing to become AyurDoulas for the advanced Postpartum Doula training certification option will want to take a weekend or more in basic Postpartum Doula work through CAPPA, DONA, or another national certifying organization. Course instructor: Ysha Oakes, D.Ay, PPAD is a Diplomate Ayurvedic Practitioner, and Postpartum AyurDoula of 15 years experience. She is a published author on the subject.
