Guest guest
Insomnia oils-the little, medium and big guns Dear Young Living Leaders, The following article is from Artemis, an author and teacher from Australia, and a dear friend of mine. Like Artemis, I find that we have many helpful " tools " in our Young Living toolbox for alleviating the majority of the everyday annoyances of our modern day world. I hope this information is beneficial to you. In Love and Light, Vicki Opfer This is a personal email from Artemis, which I trust will bring you enjoyment and inspiration. Insomnia Insomnia is something that so many people suffer from. I'm delighted to say that I've found some wonderful support amidst the Young Living product range. Here are some of my favourites (I choose one from this list, rather than trying everything): The little guns: A drop of lavender oil under my nose or on my pillow (simple calming life) A drop of Peace and Calming oil on underside/soft part of each foot (freshens, soothes, calms tired spirits) A drop of Sandalwood oil on my cheeks (helps to deepen my breathing, cool and spiritualize, and send me into a blissful rest) The medium guns: A drop of Vetiver oil on the side of my hands, just under my little fingers (rubbed together and held near my nose while I rest) A drop of Valerian oil under my nose (when I'm ready to turn the lights out) A drop of Spikenard on my chest The big guns: 4 drops of Valerian oil in a vegecap, ingested before going to bed (amazing!!!!). Note however that I find if I take it for too many days in a row, it eventually keeps me awake rather than putting me to sleep 1 Immupro (this is a supplement not available in Australia – I buy it from Young Living USA whenever I am overseas, as it's not permitted to be shipped into Australia. It works wonders for putting me to sleep in the plane whenever I am on a long international flight. I wouldn't be without it on those long haul flights!) -- Ysha Oakes, D.Ayur, Postpartum AyurDoula Sacred Window Ayurveda for Mothers & Children PO Box 786, Fairfield, IA 52556 641-472-1695 www.sacredwindow.com www.perinatalayurveda
