This announcement for the PTSD week was the first announcement on a

first ever we know about in the West on this program. For more

Nancy, aren't you and Har Kaur offering as part of this some intro to

basic principles of Ayurveda important to begin to understand for the

program?

 

This program will be held in Espanola (1/2 hour north of Santa Fe, New

Mexico) or Santa Fe. We do not have a web page for it, and it may be

a somewhat informal publicity/word of mouth advertising, can't tell

yet. This is all the info avail - if you talk with her and learn

more, please share! Best I can tell, it will be entry level but

focused for practical skills/protocols as well as the theoretical

perameters and resources for practitioners working with trauma

clients. It will be powerful, valuable and simple tools and include

probably 2 days ayurvedic post-trauma massage training and adaptations.

 

Regarding the NAMA http://www.ayurveda-nama.org annual conference in

October - features open to the public lectures, and tracks for

personal, professional and business interests in Ayurveda.

includes Dr. John Douillard, author of Ayurveda for Kids (includes his

famous chapter, " Kids make mucous for a living " and " The Lazy Susan "

on which he keeps key ayurvedic herbs for his family of 7, for

appropriate daily uses. He will be speaking for the public and

conference attendees on Raising Kids on Ayurveda.

Schedule and Sedona program, NOvember

Janel, I'm back in Fairfield, Iowa since just 2 days till 15th.

Sedona again May 15 - 17. Rex and Judy Manz (their family pictures,

magical people all of them, at

have arranged a meeting with 7 Centers.com about doing a program in

November there. (Rex and Judy have done some very special service to

their community for sexually assaulted women, the website is

http://www.movingtoendsexualassault.org.) 7 Centers does yoga teacher

trainings, has a special interest in mothers and children programs,

and all students also learn life skills personalized for them around

Ayurveda, including attentions from their Ayurvedic kitchen!

 

Then the program (separate post) in Albuquerque May 18 - 21. I will be

back in Iowa until end of the month. IN Tennessee and Kentucky

helping a friend move and on private retreat most of June.

Best time to connect here if you can come up will be later May or
