Guest guest
Dear Janel (and other group members); It is with timely sharing in your success that I was able to dial in tonight on my friend's computer for few minutes and see your announcement. Great congratulations on this achievement! Many Blessings continued, which surely will be shared to benefit of many mothers. Hopefully our recent new members (Vicky, thanks for watching out for them and accepting their requests) will check the archives to learn of this good work. Dr. Bhate, as always, much gratitude for your wealth of wisdom and generous sharings. The small training here in Alachua, florida is going very well - we are doing more case/service work and the students are astounded to hear from the mouths of each client, even those initially saying they are happy, healthy, fine, baby same, once asked standard " daily care " questions, reporting many complaints/conditions predicted in the training discussions for the type of vata imbalances natural to all women postpartum, and exacerbated by the common cultural practices of incorrect dietary, rest, herbal, massage and other wise care details. Particularly noticable are difficulties for the babies (ages 2 weeks to 3 months) sleeping well in the daytime (or at night), and disconcerting amounts of flatulence (maternal/infant) and forgetfulness, and various womb related excess bleeding, retained placenta et al with the women we are attending. Consistentley causative are use of salads, leftovers, heavy cheeses, going OFF dairy, (incorrect use of it), cold foods and drinks, other heavy or aggravating foods plus insufficient good fats. consistent desire to learn infant massage and receive more of the mother's home spa care after receiving even one student one, as well as deep appreciation for the guidance we were able to offer in the short time with them, and desire for focused herbal support is also clear among the diverse practice clientelle. IT does not take much to pique their interest in more ayurvedic support given a good taste. Would that we could give all newly birthed mothers such a taste! Class begins again early in the am, so this is all can be said for now. Other members attending this group are available to respond to questions and although we may refer you to already posted discussions sometimes,no question is considered " dumb " - OK? Much love, Ysha Postpartum AyurDoula group hostess > > It is with unspeakable joy and tearful eyes that I am happy to announce that SB303 has made it through the Missouri Senate.
