Guest guest
In India, the decoctions made from different herbs are offered for42 days, which take care of of Vata as well as other needs such as galactogogues. The decoctions are named " Balant Kadha No. 1 " , " Baland Kadha No. 2 " and " Baland Kadha No. 3 " . they are to be taken for two weeks each. The decoctions are made as per the needs. The mom eats special food called Laddus, made from ginger, jaggery, fenugreek and several other spices. As reagrds use of ginger and turmeric later, it is suggested that go to ayurveda website. Choose advanced search window. If you key- in author name " shirish " and message body contains " ginger " as keywords you will see 57 messages where ginger has been used as a anti-vata, anti-kapha herb, pain-killer, etc It is seen that total material posted on ginger may constitute almost a book volume. A vaidya can cure most of the diseases if he knows about 15 herbs thoroughly. In India, some old time Vaidyas have written one book for each herb. Already so much material is available on net about herb medical uses, but not much in detailed receipe form. Author is planning to write, with housewives and mums as readers in mind, about one article per week. when he posts at ayurvedonline, he will post link at perinatalayurveda. It is requested that members here read the articles at ayurveda so that any connected articles will be available there itself. YOu need not become members at ayurveda, unless you wish to post some message. ayurveda messages are open to all, even non-members. ayurveda , " Ysha Oakes " <AyurDoulas wrote: > > Dear Friends; > > Dr. Bhate and others have been discussing simple measures for relief > from migraine and dysmenorrhea on the ayurveda forum, and this > additional note for benefits of ginger postpartum was posted recently. > I would like to request Dr. Bhate, would you kindly share how you use > for our members as well as myself? > > This amount, I am not sure how much it is but we do know we must use > larger amounts of suitable carminatives which do not disturb baby or > mother with too much harshness, to restore agni (digestive and > metabolic fires) to good function after the labor/delivery shut down > and needed reignitions...as well as larger than normal amounts of > ghee. Guest guest
Dear Shirish; A big thank you rises as always for not only providing much spice to our conversations here, but such devoted and wise service to so many, while taking us under your wing. > Author is planning to write, with housewives and mums as readers in > mind, about one article per week. when he posts at ayurvedonline, he > will post link at perinatalayurveda. Perhaps I can find the key to change it. Warmly; Ysha dasi
