Guest guest
Dear Friends; This message was posted yesterday on the [wildharvest] group, featuring many parents especially essential oils users, where many topics are well as well as wildly shared. As quality of reproductive tissues, breast milk, babies in the making and long term health are all of concern especially for perinatal mothers, I'm sharing these messages of useful resource and warning here: >[wildharvest] Kleenex, pesticides? >Tue, 23 Jan 2007 18:28:36 -0000 > just wanted to pass this on... mmy mom was listening to the radio a couple of days and a news clip mentioned that Kimberly Clark is *improving* their Kleenexes. they are supposedly adding a pesticide to them to kill the illness. maybe pesticide isn't the right word, but that's the word the radio person used. i for one will not be purchasing any *new and improved* Kleenex >tissues! > >ingrid Hi Ingrid, It's not their " new and improved " it's their anti-viral tissues and they're already on the market and have been for some time. And pesticides is the exact same word I used heard to describe them as well. To be specific, it's a blend of citric acid and sodium lauryl sulfate. (Doesn't THAT make one pause....how many other products do people use with sls in it, that no one has EVER called " pesticide " ???) Hope that gives you some further info on this - ~Dawn who is NOT impressed with anti-viral tissues and will RUN LIKE THE WIND away from them! : ) does anybody have a list of all the *unsafe* chemicals found in the different bathroom products we use daily? like shampoo, body wash, toothpaste...(like sodium laurel sulfate) thanx! ingrid If you go to: www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2 The Environmental Working Group's data base for toxins most people are exposed to daily, I'm sure you'll find something you can use.
