WOw..The vegtables on your list are what I eat almost everyday and love! Is

there a way to balance the lack of calcium absorption by taking an herb or

supplements..ANyone know?

Namaste Narayani -

I also would like to know more here, such as kidney/tissues/joint cleansing of

this type of acidity.

My instinct often cooking these foods is to include pitta reducing herbs and

influences - ghee/butter, coconut oil, cumin, coriander, fennel, coconut, pinch

light sugar or maple syrup, fresh ginger grated, all seem to reduce the effect

on the level of taste. As far as metabolic result, I do not know.

One of the steps that comes to mind is to evaluate our kidney health and these

other problems listed on that website as below. I have some kidney weekness in

my astrological map, and am like you thinking, I eat many of these things...time

to lean more away, especiallly when kidneys are feeling burdened. If they have

not manifested with difficulties, and your jyotish astrology also gives clear

sailing on those bodily areas, you are probably fine. But generally when there

are transits which influence the kidneys or joints, for instance, it will be

good time to minimize intake and find balancing or cleansing options.

Warm Regards;

Ysha

Foods containing these chemicals may be consumed in moderation.

However, if you suffer from kidney disease, kidney stones, rheumatoid

arthritis, or gout, it is usually recommended that you avoid foods

that are high in oxalates or oxalic acid.
