Hi ladies and gentlemen! I could use your help for a brief moment.

I am an accredited leader and volunteer and for our local birthing and parenting

support group called Dar a Luz. It is part of a network of such groups (see

www.daraluznetwork.com) which has expanded out to New Jersey, North Carolina,

and even Alaska, from Dayton, Ohio.

 

Yes, we are trying to raise some monies to help us with our upcoming

conference. If we get 100 votes of confidence in our worthiness, on the side

It is difficult today to gather and sift through all of the conflicting

information available regarding pregnancy and birthing. We help take the guess

work out of it for women, providing a both wealth of resources on current,

evidence-based wise choices and then a strong circle of support for whatever the

woman has decided based on the information provided. We are a non-profit created

to provide knowledge, power and support for all women who are trying to get

pregnant, are pregnant, or are new mothers.

 

Our Dayton, Ohio chapter has grown so quickly, that we are opening

three more chapters in the Dayton area. We are also opening chapters

in New Jersey, Alaska and North Carolina. More information is available at

As everyone will see, this is a borderline ok post in terms of wanting to avoid

opening the door to requests for funds. But after looking at your plans for the

conference next year, I was convinced of the value of sharing and the easy

" voting " mechanism on the link. Please post info teaser also about your

conference and who is coming, featured subjects, dates, etc. You can repost
