Guest guest
If an ayurvedic vaidya is ready to give a kashya basti, which has herbs to take care of parasites, should one take basti or not? it is safer to spread negative philosophies, but there exist solutions to each problem, provided patient has a trust on herbs and healer. But your suggestion is good. people should not simply ask for a specific treatment after reading somewhere that it is good. let vaidya decide what is good for a patient, and in what manner it should be administered. While discussion on foreceps damage is going on, let this author assure you that bastis can make pelvis muscles strong enough not to need foreceps at all. provided of course right oils and number of bastis are performed. Some vaidyas in india use only bastis to open out the blocked follopian tubes!!! ayurveda , " Heidi Nordlund " <heidin42 wrote: > I was just reading the recommendation for B(V)asti - remember never to > perform this part of Pancha Karma if one has parasites. Guest guest
Ladies Thanks for the suggestions! One ( of the many ) things I love about Ayurveda is that it involves practices we can do on our own..Although I am NOWHERE near being a Vaidya, I can recomend gentle cleansing practices for my clients to do on their own at home. Even Dr. Lad has a full book on home remedies that a countless number of folks use around the world for healing ourselves and our beloved ones..I have no problem at all to suggest my clients try certain SAFE practices.. The original question was not for a vasti per se, but just about an at home cleansing (oil or no oil basti)for a very healthy mama Yogini. I suggestedshe to do a home PK and to check some written materials(Dr Lads book) ... Thanks for all the input, Narayani Shirish Bhate <shirishbhate wrote: If an ayurvedic vaidya is ready to give a kashya basti, which has herbs to take care of parasites, should one take basti or not? it is safer to spread negative philosophies, but there exist solutions to each problem, provided patient has a trust on herbs and healer.
