Guest guest
First, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! I want to express my gratitude for finding this group and being able to experience the teachings of you all. I was introduced to ayurveda by my yoga teacher, Yogi Vishvketu from India. Last year, I had the opportunity to travel to India with Vishva where met his father and uncle, both highly respected vaidyas and stayed with his family. I don't have the words to express my development during this time. When I returned home to Canada, I discovered the teachings of Swamini Mayatitananda (Maya Tiwari). Her perspective gave me a much needed feminine influence in my life. I work as a physical therapist and a yoga teacher who specializes in women's and children's health - I am not (yet) a doula - though the ayurdoula curriculum excites me greatly;) Thanks again for sharing your wisdom, Tanya
