Guest guest
I've been thinking about Tara's post and I have been a little concerned. Tara sounded upset that Ysha hadn't responded to her question in some expected time period. It has been my understanding that Ysha started this group and moderates it from the heart of a ayurdoula who wants us all to have a reliable resource for questions about ayurvedic health care for our postpartum mothers. She happens to have many years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable; in fact I almost feel guilty reading all the lengthy answers and explanations she gives us, info we would have to look up in books or attend expensive workshops to find out about, because I know she is spending hours of her own time on. I don't know how she keeps up with this group and her own work, and like all of us postpartum doulas, is probably barely making it financially. Hopefully those reading this valuable writing will remember her name when they have clients needing ayurdoula care as this is how Ysha makes a living. This is just a support group so her valuable information is such a bonus for us. When someone is so available and reliable it is easy for us to come to expect a quick reply but if she never replied at all that would seem normal to me on a support group. I hope I don't sound harsh, I just don't want Ysha to get burned out and leave us, she is such an unexpected treasure. Vicky York
Guest guest
Thank you so much, Vicky. I don't take anyone's mood personally, but these are real issues. I sometimes consider dropping it all. Ysha >
