Surprise! My practicioner gave it to me for this purpose, I don't know much

about the herb

except that it is revered and is frequently grown on temple grounds. I'm

blessed that this

herb came to me now and would love to learn more about it.

It makes sense to me that it is a uterine tonic and can fuel other herbs for

pelvic organs

rehabilitation. I think I'm largely using the herb in a karmic sense. In the

last few months

I have talked a friend through HELP, this is an acronym for a syndrome that

requires

immediate early caesarean due to Mom's elevated blood pressure and liver shut

down.

The baby was born at 2 lbs, 1 oz in mid December and just went home last weekend

at 4

lbs. 8 oz. Amazing little guy who pulled his own feeding tubes out several

times and

nurses now with a passion.

One of my clients asked for herbs to promote a miscarriage when here baby was

found to

be still in the uterus, I thought this was out of my scope of practice and

referred her to a

certified herbalist I've worked with before, she opted for a D & C. I'm sure

I'll be at her

next birth as she had contracted with me for this one after my assitance at her

1st birth.

I've recently attended a workshop with Penny Simkin on " When Survivors Give

Birth " . I

highly recommend this as a read for any of you who have had a difficult birth

personally or

work with clients who have had one. Puts a new light on " why? " and opened up a

whole lot

of repressed memories for me, both from this life and karmic ones where I have

injured

women-repaying that debt now.

I'm also working with a tantrika here in Austin to work with my psychology

around the

repression of some of the functions of these delightful pelvic organs that we

have. Just

entering Sa-Me-Ve (Jyotish), so it'll be fun to see how Saturn authorizes my

communication of the issues of the divine female.

Blessings-

Charlotte Del Toro
