Guest guest
Hi Erin, and Hakim; First hand experience ... it is not my work, so I cannot speak on this. Erin, as a recent member you may have missed Hakim's intro so I'd like to speak on his behalf, having known him for many years. His attention to quality and effective care for many clients in his center, and now other parts of the state, I can tell is excellent. Not only because from the nature of our interchange with him (he refers to me about things he doesn't know with perinatal women and the exchange is an honor) he knows his ayurveda and contemporary needs and his limits well. Also Dr. Shresta from Nepal has shared with me the good service he offers also, and honors him with special teaching visits at his clinic. We met in Boulder when he was a student there. It appears that they finally are getting the business professionally dressed and I know it costs a lot just to live/run a center in San Diego. (Where they do much seva also). As to the product, on their site, he'll have to explain. Hakim, I can tell you are just getting the site together; I agree product detail or at least ingredients listing and some discussion of their what ... rarity? will be good. Iam understanding that per your previous post, these other suggestions are modalities you have used with good results with clients but it took longer, than with the new product? We would all appreciate elaboration I'm sure, it is a greatly needed arena these days of effective and safe health care. What do you know about safe application of these tools during preconception timing, pregnancy, postpartum and lactation. As long as the issue of placental perfusion, influence on the newborn, etc is under discussion per Adrienne's post ... all the data we can collect will give strength to the ayurvedic ways!) Hakim, when you have the time, I also would like to understand the SBOs and their difference from milk-based probiotics in terms of both intestinal implantation, effectiveness/range, and any perinatal considerations. If you have recommendation for favored product (is it the same one Saraswati uses?) I personally seem to have re-planted a strong yeast culture intestinally from some kefir culture that went yeasty, and intend to order something for it Monday. Namaste!
