Guest guest
Martha, Besides rest, gentle exercise, a nutritious diet and garlic turmeric milk do you think chyavanprash and extra vitamins like the b's, a's, and c's are ok for postpartum moms at 6 weeks for their immune system. And how much and I know I am missing some thing. Did you find some help for the herbs? Thanks, Sonya Sonya Bastow MettaDoula sonya 303.619.5326 cell 303.516.0959 home
Guest guest
Hi Sonya; Definitely all are appropriate, as is the western version (not RMIYA's yogic) panchakarma after 6-8 weeks, although not while sick. Trikatu can be used, if needed mahasudarshan, even tikta and others, just be sure to buffer them for their vata increasing and cooling properties. I beleive you have a set of notes from the advanced/safe postpartum herbal class you might want to review. Yes, Sharon Thomas called and was able to do the herbs. Her rate for 6 weeks' supply including shipping of 3 (she did not have good access to Dashmool) is $150. Well packed and labeled. Thanks for checking in. I hope your flu and cough have finallyl cleared? Wishing you Many Blessings! Martha
