Dear Sonya and Kalavati;

It sounds like you two have given birth again; lotsa the whatever it

took kinda work?

Sonya, Your mama I'm sure is grateful even with just your phone

support. But is noone else available to backyou up?

Do you want to talk more aboutyour own symptoms here or on the phone?

Dry or sticky or productive cough? How long had it, how much of

the Thieves are you using, any fever, etc? When I'm using it I take

by the capsule, 3-4 X daily, minimum 5 days. If I feel too warming,

I'll shift to the more cooling antimicrobial eoils, or add a little

chamomile, which is very soothing cooling and calming. The spring I

moved to FLorida and was so depleted, I had picked up whooping cough

from my friends' family in North Carolina. The nighttime coughing was

very challenging to sleep. One of my best supports was almost full

cap Thieves oil with 3 drops Oregano oil in it. The sticky and dry

cough responds often best to something emollient, like licorice.

And in your client's milk tonic, if immune system is down I'd look at

Dr. Lad's medicated milks recipes (different ones for different types

of challenges)for throad support favoring mostly turmeric, with some

licorice (very thoat specific herb) or consider with pitta/yeast on

top of the vata and lowered immune maybe almond or tahini milk instead

for a bit. Sounds like she must really enjoy the dairy most of the time?

The Thieves spray is really a wonderful support; one can often get

good relief on sore throat with gargling combo saline with turmeric,

but former is stronger as you know. And of course more clear foods

soups, etc are best. I suppose your comment about all these things

won't happen till you are there again includes the food emphasis this

way? Is she doing other teas, or just room temp water?

Most likely, several of our readers are thinking, milk tonic, with her

fighting a sore throat? Like the response I got yesterday about the

cancer supportive dairy recipes. Not at all much understood, because

the way it is usually used is so wrong! We should explain. If you get

the chance, I'll invite your comment, so I can get some shuteye and

protect myself too :) Or we can just say, tb continued.

Congrats on your meeting - I expect it will be snowballing; Boulder is

a fortunate place to be that way for many! Take care, and enjoy your

rest.

Martha

Hey ladies,

I needed to chime in here b/c we are dealing with the wet, productive, rattly

cough around here, myself, my 3yr old and my 3 month old baby. I finally bit

the bullet today and made an appt for the ped for them. We'll just have to see

what his " second " opinoin is but I was curious if theives oil on my 3 yr olds

feet would be too strong?

He started on mahasudarshan last nite but I think/know he took too much b/c he

ended up throwing it up (he likes it so an hour after his first dose when he

asked for more I gave it to him, and it came back up which was sort of good b/c

so did alot of phlegm, which children haven't figured out to spit out what they

cough up so....)

I need to mention that the energetics here are cold, wet, and echo meaning

this is an echo pattern we have going on,this germ has been bouncing around the

house for a month, thanks to an inconsiderate out of town visitor.

I have been diffusing thieves, we put a whole 1 oz bottle of melaleuca oil on

the furnace filters to blast the whole house at once, homeopathics for the baby,

which seem to work for acute fussiness but not really doing much for the overall

picture,

Vit C for my older son, vitamins, soups......

What about garlic milk? any recipies?

At my wits end....

Bless

Rebecca
