Dear Friends;

Tonight, Tuesday, is the Hindu celebration of

Dipavali or Divali, the festival of the row of lights or dipas, is a

beautiful harvest festival invoking the blessings of Lakshmi, the Laws

of Nature called the Goddess of Abundance and generosity. Lakshmi is

bhutki mukti pradayini, the bestower of both worldly blessings and

liberation. We cannot accomplish anything in this world or the next

without Her grace.

Perhaps one of the things nourished most especially well by the

ayurvedic postpartum care is more effortless remembering of the nature

and availability of abundance and generosity sourced within.

If you have not already done some panchakarma or home panchakarma for

yourselves even as practitioners this fall, this also reminds the

psychophysiology in this way. In the meantime, enjoy the abundant

glow of all the lights around us.

Many Blessings,

Martha
