Hi Kalavati - Thanks for the reminder!

She was out of town when I called her ashram to invite her. When you

visit her ashram, you feel you are stepping into a bit of India, don't

you? And well nourished.

She has been in some discussion with the RMIYA director about teaching

there again, I am hoping it will work out. Do you have an email for

Terra Raphael, Licensed midwife who has studied with her and Saraswati

among others will be offering a Monday nights intro to Ayurveda this

fall beginning in October also in Boulder, And Nita Desai, MD/OBGyn

who graduated from Dr. Lad's program has I believe already begun an

indepth intro which will be excellent for physicians and nurses, in

Denver. Hopefully the Maharishi Ayurveda Peace Palace will begin

offering programs and services in Denver also soon. I know Patricia

Hansen, co-founder of RMIYA and a very experienced Ayurvedic

practitioner and yoga teacher offers courses at the community college

nearby. And Dr. John Douillard in Boulder is teaching PK massage with

a major polish, so there are options for a wide range of public

financial and professional angles. I am delighted to see many

offerings, it gives the public more exposure and opportunity. The

western slope of the Rockies has wonderful options!

Char Lee, internationally expert yoga therapist specializing in

perinatal yoga therapies and in healing backs that " can't be healed "

(also gifted at the Tibettan Ayurvedic pulse, massage, et al) will be

in attendance at our Open House. Looks like a wonderful networking

evening. Monday Oct 3, light dinner with speakers, all invited, RSVP

required to Sonya (group member), suggested donation $10.
