Guest guest
Dear Barbara; As I'm quite without regular net access, this has to be brief but 'tis a sincere welcome and invitation to introduce yourself and your interests to all the members. Warm regards; Martha
Guest guest
Hello Martha and all you other wonderful (wo?)men, Thank you for your invitation to introduce myself. Sonya from Boulder introduced me to this group and to the concept of ayurdoula and it has been quite exciting for me. I have been studying Ayurveda for sometime, mostly self-study with a workshop with Sarasvati before moving from Boulder. I have newly arrived in Corvallis, Oregon and am beginning to train and work as a postpartum doula (getting certified with DONA). I am a licensed massage therapist and also an energy worker --craniosacral therapy and Jin Shin Tara and my intention is to work with women at all stages of their pregnancy in support of new life. Eventually as I gain more experience with babies I will also include them in my craniosacral practice. What I have learned of the Ayurvedic approach to postpartum care makes so much sense to me and I do hope to continue my studies and perhaps become a certified ayurdoula. I appreciate this avenue to learn and relate to other women in the field. Blessings to you all, Beeara --- Martha Oakes <martha wrote: > Dear Barbara; > As I'm quite without regular net access, this has to be brief but > 'tis > a sincere welcome and invitation to introduce yourself and your > interests to all the members. > Warm regards; > Martha > > > > __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
