If they nurse them one at a time mom only gets 45 minutes between feedings for herself. But you need a pillow that is big, slopes in toward the mom, and goes far enough back to give butt support to the babies. When she attaches one baby, support that one's head while attaching the other one. La Leche League has good info about how to do it. I bet you could type in nursing tandem and you would find lots of info on the internet. But that's my opinion. I'm working with a mom of twins right now and it's going well.
