How are you doing? I'd be glad to help on the archiving subject. I am a little

behind on the archives for the Asheville Mamas group (like by 4 months), but

that is mostly because I have been working on the nursery and getting adjusted

to my gestational diabetes. I hope to have finished my last archive this coming

month.

 

Let's see, this is what I do:

 

I make a folder in both Works and Word for each topic. That way, mamas who do

not have Microsoft Word can open the Works folder.

 

And each folder starts with AM (Asheville Mamas) on _____________(topic)

 

I go to the earliest topic and if it is a question I list that:

all the folders on different topics I put into 2 winzip or winrar folders for

easy downloading: one in Works and one in Word

 

That way, if I send an updated or a new folder, and the mamas download it onto

their desktop, only the updated ones will be replaced and the new ones will be

added to an Asheville Mama folder on their desktop.

 

A few things to consider:

* I try not to repeat the same responses to a topic. If 2 mamas use the exact

same baby rash cream and swear by it, I put in only one response.

* I try to fix any spelling errors and grammatical errors. Easier to read.

* I try to keep non-related issues out of the archives, for example: I use

Burt's Bees diaper rash cream. Oh and I hope to get in touch with Lisa about
