Guest guest
Hi All, Martha introduced me to this group. Thanks Martha. I have a 1 year old son, who has mild hydrocephalus. DO you know of any cure that would help resolve this problem?? In Allopathy, the only way is to put a shunt in. But I was wondering if there are other ways of curing this. I know homeopathy and ayurveda can do wonders, but I donot know of anyone knowledged in these areas. So, please help me, if you know of any cure.. Thanks. Guest guest
Dear Mama of this 1 year old son, I am glad you came out of the closet enough to say this much, although had I known your concern I'd send you to the ayurvedic physicians, among other possiblities, as this may be beyond an member's trainng. I personally do not know what hydrocephalus is, and we all must be careful not to address it as such, nore can we legally talk about cures; rather we can talk about supportive therapies for what is known about organs and tissues etc. So it sounds like some accumulation of ... fluid, I assume in the brain or cranial cavity as there is this shunting process? If this is the case, you may be able to gain so much from talking with a family I know whose baby had significant fluid buildup and pressure requiring shunting, and turned out she had brain hmm, according to my rules, rapidly growing malignant accumulation well the diagnosis medically was cancer and other things. The protocols this family used were many, and they researched really well. That girl is maybe 16 today, and a very exceptional being. Very exceptionally intelligent, intuitive, talented. If you care to call I'll share their phone number in Ashland Oregon. There certainly is other information, probably a wealth, including with therapeutic grade essential oils available as you keep sharing about you and your Baby's situation, and keep asking until you are completely satisfied. I can refer you to someone also who is experienced with this modality, herbs, et al with successful support of brain tumors. Are you still nursing? WHat can Baby do/not do? What is your diet like and what has your post partum recovery been like? What are you doing for it now? What are the descriptions of this condition? I've more questions than answers right now to be able to offer you what information I may have access to. The vaidyas (ayurvedic physicians) may also be written and also asked this question at www.ayurveda. But for their protection also, as well as others I'd suggest rewording to not implicate them in any practicing medicine w/o a license. Maybe online from India it doesn't matter, but some of them reside in the US. Guest guest
Martha, Thankyou so much for responding. I am sorry about the wording in my previous posts, I am not very familiar with the protocols. Anycase, I will glad to give you any information about my son, if that will lead to the right medicine.. He is 15 months now, and he only cruises around holding on to furniture, walls, hands etc.. He stands maybe for for a minute without support and sometimes even takes a step or two, but then falls down. He was quite big when he was born. No, I am not nursing him anymore. Nursed him till he was 9 months. The postpartum was very easy. He was a easy baby to care for also. Feeds well and sleeps well. About the hydrocephalus, he has aqueductal stenosis. He doesnot have tumors or didnt have hmm.. We had mutliple MRIs taken, and all of them show the same amount of fluid. Not sure what that means. He doesnot have all the typical symptoms of hydro. He doesnt vomit, no sun setting eyes etc. He doesnt have the shunt. We didnt go for the surgery, we are still in the " wait and watch " mode. He was almost on target for all the milestones except the walking.. He rolled over at 5 months, sat independently at 7 months, crawled at 8.5 months, pulled up at 10 months. Anycase, if you can recommend any oils that we can massage, or anybody who can direct us, that would be great. Thanks, Vallery Dear Vallery; This is beyond my training, as I said, but I will pass the question up - Hakim and Adrienne, do you have any familiarity with this kind of thing?
