Daily self massage, herbs, dietary factors etc. We can also keep in touch with followup consult/s. The self-care can make a tremendous difference! I also totally encourage you to sit down now and make a quick list of your girlfriends with their phone numbers. Remember it takes a village to raise a child, and this starts now! Choose your closest friend/s to call and ask their help, give them the list of others plus the sign-up sheet and cooking tips for postpartum both of which you can copy from the " Keys " handbook. And remember, this is not a personal issue, or asking for some pampering. Motherhood is 24/7. It is unavoidably a surrender to service, WHICH INCLUDES learning how to take care of ourselves to maintain and enhance your ability to serve in love, health and wisdom. OK? It is not a personal request, it is about taking care of Mother Divine on the planet here. It is our responsibility to our family and community to arrange for these things. Does this make sense? Remember also once you have looked over the book to open to the pages for fathers, and ask your husband if he would kindly read it. I find fathers are very grateful for this information, especially when asked (ie not told) and the page is open on the table, real easy like (some dads won't get the 'round tuit otherwise). PS, please feel free to share with everyone your successes and challenges with the personal recommendations we talked about as you put them into action. Many Blessings!
