Namaste,

The MANA conference is in Portland, Oregon, Not India, sorry for the

confusion LOL!

I have changed the settings on all my groups to " no mail " so my inbox won't

fill up while I am away, but I still steal a check once in a while from the

site.

Vicky, I'd love to meet you at the conference, I am leaving for Portland on

the 13th. Maybe we can find some way to meet? I am very new to actual

learning of Ayurveda myself. Most of what I know is from 'hear say' rather

than actual study, but I would love to really study it indebt someday.

Martha, I'd love to meet Kerry, I know a lot of people from the Hare Krishna

Community in Gainesville. I will keep my eyes out for her and your flyers

and book sample, I think the book sounds intriguing. I love to have a look

at it, the title sound great.

Yes, hopefully I will not get sick while I am in India, this will be my

third trip to India and I haven't been sick there yet, except once when I

over indulged in frozen mango pulp, talk about heat!!! I was quite sick, but

got over it pretty quickly, and luckily it was at the very end of my trip

and I was back to the states in two days. Anyway, I am hoping my luck holds

out, I am very careful of my water sources which I have found to be the key

at least one anyway, the other I guess is Karma.

I would not know where to start to find a good Ayurvedic physician that I

could trust in India, know of any lol?

I am traveling from Mumbai to Deli to Vrindavan, Vrindavan is an ancient

village and I would think there would be some great Ayurvedic doctors there.

I will be traveling to holy places in Vrindavan for 15 days, and then I will

return to Mumbai for my sister-in-laws wedding.

Please forgive my ignorance, but what is your web address? I am really

interested in the AyurDoula stuff? How do you get into that? Please keep me

posted.

Take care,

OM Shanti

Blessings, Rasa. Forgive some edits, can you keep your sigfile to 5 lines, such

as above? Re good vaidyas, as I do't know india, you would have to ask, or a

friend of mine was just there in Vrindavan and found one when he was sick. He

is Isadas (AT) hotm (DOT) ... Also you could ask on the ayurveda , where

vaidyas from INdia regularly participate in the posts. Kerry's email is oops,

it is Kerri, kerrionandon (AT) yah (DOT) ... PS - Not listing the full email address

protects from spam webcrawlers.

Rasa: I will be taking karen Stranges' neonatal resuscitation class (all day). And I am sure we will be wearing name tags. I am a postpartum doula. actually my picture is on my web site, that might help, though I have aged a lot this year. These things happen:)
