GBS protocols

Hi,

Martha and others in Florida: sending my love and blessings for a

safe ride through Frances' fury.

I have amassed much information about group B strep: statistics,

conventional, and natural approaches. From what I have seen, once

you test positive, and this can even be in a previous pregnancy, you

are much more likely to receive a label and thus antibiotics during

labor. Work with your primary care provider to re-test and negotiate

antibiotic use keeping the risk factors in mind. Risk factors

include: having a previous baby who was GBS-positive; having a

urinary tract infection testing positive for GBS any time during this

pregnancy; labor before 37 weeks' gestation (LMP); rupture of

membranes prior to 37 weeks' gestation; rupture of membranes more

that 18 hours before birth; or mom has a temperature of 100.4° or

higher while in labor.

Please email me off-list if anyone wants handouts; there are 4 word

documents and since they aren't Ayurvedic in nature I didn't want to

clutter up the website. One of the protocols does suggest use

of Young Living Ess. Oils!

Namaste,

Adrienne

Thanks for your blessings Ade, we are ready for the campout adventure here for a

few days and expect to be out of power possibly starting Sunday anytime. BTW,

I'd love a copy of your notes. Thanks for sharing this info, so much to learn.

subject, when you get a chance!

Better to request off this site in the future, I set a bad example :)

PS, I'm going to leave messages unmoderated for a few days. My job has been

just about cleaning up extra attachment/words, maybe we can all do our own for a

while till the group is bigger?

Marti: are you swimming or blowing away over there in Florida? Vicky York

Hi All, forgive the non-ayurveda ... this weekend has definitely been drop the

formalities time. Thanks for your concerns -- lucky here, this morning were the

deepest puddles but the drainage ditch never overflowed. Sandbagging was

unnecessary, but a good exercise in community etc. Winds were WONDERFUL, not

too heavy, tho they gave the trees a good pruning and downed a few trees in the

area onto power lines. Had fun camping in with my Vero Beach friends here who

now have much work to do... but may be in better shape than they feared.

PS; I think that to send messages off group to someone you have to cut and paste

their email into one of your personal emails. Is there an easier way?

Love,

Marti
