Martha,

I tried Dr. Lad's suggestion for acid stomach- aloe vera with a pinch of baking soda. Charlie was the most settled when I gave that to him last night. I gave him 1/2 a tsp. when he went to sleep and when he woke to eat. Now I am wondering if he has some GERD issues. He has a long hernia (the homeopath diagnosed it as one) that runs from the bottom of his rubs down his diaphragm. about five inches long and 1 inch wide.

At this point Martha I just don't know any more, I am so busy trying to figure out what it is I am overlapping things. It is hard to see what really works or not. Last night he slept for 4 hours, the longest in months. I will try the aloe and soda again tonight and see.

Thanks for being patient with me as I search for answers.

Vicky H.

[ayurveda] Re: night terrors

Dear Vicky;Forgive me for taking the weekend off the net...I always feel so bad when a child (ok, anyone) has realtime needs I wasn't there to responde to when being asked. Have you tried any of the things we talked about since SAturday? Whatever the distinctions which can be made, and I'm grateful for the education, the physiological conditions which can be addressed are very similar. I'd try both Adriennies' ideas and Dr. Lads, if I were you. So it sounds like the results of the intuitive healer's work was short lived?Martha
