Guest guest
Dear Mindy, Noticed your question about Apricot kernal and I did a www.Lukol.com search for Apricot Kernal paste: The search page URL follows the last part of your letter below. I bought 5 gallon buckets from bakeries to use as compost buckets and some were labeled as 'apricot kernal paste'. Wasn't apricot kernal the source of Laetril? Maybe this will help you with your question. Sincerely, Edith >>>> Mindy Behymer <mindyb > " Upon investigating the diet of these people, we found that the seed of the apricot was prized as a delicacy and that >every part of the apricot was utilized. " [27] Hmmm....exactly which part of the apricot seed did they eat? If I remember correctly from my little-girl-bug-smashing days, when I cracked open an apricot seed to see what was inside, I saw what looked curiously enough like an almond. I think. So was that it, that " almond " ? Or did they just eat the hard pit shell? Can't imagine why it would be a delicacy...what does it taste like?
