ADHD and coffee/caffeine as treatment

One of the clues to ADHD is does the child get better with caffeine. If so

prescription stimulants are also likely to help. Many adult ADDers use

coffee and or cola to help them stay focused. It's cheaper and easier to get

by far than the meds., and for some it's enough to get them by.

OK, so for them, coffee might actually a good thing. I'm

glad I asked rather than shooting off my mouth with my preconceived
