Guest guest
Mindy, Swedish Bitters has so long a list of things it's supposedly good for, it sounds like snake oil, but I'll just comment on what I use it for--which I discovered by accident and have never seen or heard advocated by anyone. One day when I picked up the handle of an iron skillet pre-heated to 350 degrees in the oven and lifted it to the range before I even felt the pain that made me scream, I had nothing in the kitchen--no aloe vera, no vit. E--to use as a salve. I reached for the bitters out of desperation, really without reasoning (which was beyond me then) that it made no sense to put an alcohol-based product on severely burned skin. All I can tell you is that I had only minimal pain, no swelling or blisters, and my fingers became only slightly red--for a while. I've kept a bottle in the kitchen ever since strictly for burns. Guest guest
Hello, When I was at the health food store today, I saw a bottle called " Swedish Bitters. " I didn't buy any, but it interested me enough that I want to know more about it and may pick some up the next time I go. Has anyone had positive results with this?
