Guest guest
Hi, Six weeks ago when I checked my PSA it had gone up approximately 5 points in six weeks to 20.3. I decided to use another Lupron shot, this time a three month shot to see whether I might be refactory. There was evidence that might be happening in October of 1995 when I discontinued the Lupron and Eulexin after 4 years and 7 months. After 5 years of no standard treatment I have used Lupron in the Fall for three consecutive years now in addition to Alternatives. The PSA as of Monday was 10.7. I am not refactory and it probability will decrease more before the next PSA in 6 weeks. My testosterone is quite low but the Lupron or the combination of that and the alternatives is still working. I have not done anything to block the testosterone from the adrenal gland since October of 1995. I know the PCa I have is quite aggressive but not how much so. I would like to know but don't know whether finding out is important enough to risk another biopsy or going to Detroit to do a Doppler analysis. I have seen PCa eliminated with Flax Oil and cottage cheese in a fair number of unscientifically tested situations and with 30 cataloged strains of PCa and an average of 7 present at Prostectomies it is possible that the slower strains have been eliminated and only the more aggressive ones remain. I am coming to the hypothesis that regular use of FO/CC, along with some other supplements, boosted periodically by a shot of Lupron or the use of Cassodex for a time could very well control the situation without losing the capacity for " intimacies " and quality life. That capacity is long gone for me with the continuous use of Lupron and Eulexin for 4 years and 7 months straight. Cliff
