Guest guest
colonoscpy is a flawed test because it only takes a picture of the outermost area of the intestinal lining or lumen a person can have massive impaction and diverticulitis and yet the lumen can still look clean because it apears to be a healthy mucous layer. not rocket science- yet the brilliant doctors dont realize this. - Penel Eynde LeGrand <hyldemoer Gettingwell Sunday, December 15, 2002 8:54 PM Re: fats and oils <snip> > my intestines began to clean themselves. and over the > years ive passed ongodly things from my colon and small > intestine. when i stay on this diet, stuff just keeps > coming out. and its been over twelve years. <snip> > after 4 years on this diet and having my fillings > replaced, i began passing worms. this lasted for 4 > years. tons of worms, and other gunk from my colon. Hey, I've had my filling replaced and one of the adventures I get to go through periodically because I have ulcerative colitis is a colonoscopy. Granted the MDs make me go through a process to flush all the contents out of my colon before the ordeal but everything I've ever read about stuff being stuck in folks' colon for years ... what a let down I've had. Aside from big areas of ulceration from the genetic influenced auto-immune disorder, my colon has always looks clean as a whistle as we made the video tape (and no. They won't give me a copy of the video tape, only a couple stills); no cool looking creepy worms or nothing, not even a stuck corn kernel. Do you think my little guys might be hiding farther up stream in the small intestine?
