WHAT DOES THE COFFEE DO!!!

The coffee enema has a very specific purpose: lowering serum toxins. Coffee

enemas have a definite effect on the colon which can be observed with an

endoscope. The palmitiic acid found in coffee promotes the activity of

glutathione S-transferase and other ligands many times above the norm. It is

this enzyme group that is responsible primarily for the conjugation of free

electrophile radicals which the gall bladder with then release.

Enzyme systems in the liver and small bowel are responsible for the conversion

and neutraliszation of the most common tissue toxins, poly-amines, ammonia,

toxin-bound nitrogen and electrophiles all of which can cause cell and membrane

damage.

Such protective liver and gut enzyme systems are probably enhanced a lot by

coffee enemas. Caffeine enemas cause dilation of the bile ducts, which

facilitates excretion of toxic cancer breakdown products by the liver and

dialysis of toxic products from blood across the colonic wall.

In the late 1970's and early 1980's researchers identified salts of palmitic

acids (kahweol and cafestol palmitate) in coffee as potent enhancers of

glutathione S-transferase a major detoxification system that catalyzes the

binding of a vast variety of electrophiles from the blood stream to the

sulphhydryl group of glutathione. Because the reactive ultimate carcinogenic

forms of chemicals are electrophiles, the glutathione S-transferase system must

be regarded as an important mechanism for carcinogen detoxification.

The introductions of 32 fluid oz (1 libtre) of coffee solution into the colon

will dilute portal blood and subsequently the bile. Theophylline and

theobromine, major constituents of coffee, dilate blood vessels and counter

inflammation of the gut. The palmitates of coffee enhance glutathione

S-transferase which is responsible for the removal of many toxic radicals from

serum. Because the stimulating enema is retained for 15 minutes, and because

all the blood in the body passes through the liver every 3 minutes, these enemas

represent a form of dialysis of the blood across the gut wall.

As a medication, the coffee enema is in a class by itself. While other agents

classed a choleretics do increase bile flow from the liver, they do little to

enhance detoxifying enzyme systmems and they do not ensure the passage of bile

from the intestines out of the rectum. Bile is normally reabsorbed up to nine

or ten times before working its wa out of the intestines in faeces. The enzyme

enhancing ability of the coffee enema is unique among choleretics. Because it

does not allow reabsorption of toxic bile by the liver across the gut wall, it

is an entirely effective means of detoxifying the blood serum through existing

enzyme systems in the liver and small bowel. Because clinical practice has

shown coffee enemas to be well tolerated by patients when used as frequently as

every four hours, the coffee enema may be classed as the only non-reabsorbed,

effective, repeatable choleretic in the medical literature....

These enemas are safe when used within the context of the combined Gerson

regime. It is apparent that Dr. Gerson's intenetion in supplying a soldium

restricted, high potassium, high micro-nutrient dietary of fruits, vegetables,

with some grains, such as oats and rice, was to supply all njtrients, known and

unknown, which are necessary for cell respiration and energy production. High

potassium, low sodium environments tend to return cell macro-molecules to normal

configuration states and to improve water structuring and water content. The

addition by Dr. Gerson of supplemental salts of potassium (acetate, gluconate,

and phosphate monobasic ) to the diet in which malate, is supplied by frequent

use of apples, probably greatly improves the efficiency of teh Krebs cycle in

mitochondrial energy production. Protein restriction, employed by Dr. Gerson as

a temporary aspect of treatment, has been observed empierically since before the

turn of the centry to aid in the reduction of cellular oedema. Administration

of high -loading dosages of thyroid and Lugol's solution (iodine and potassium

iodide in dilute solution) probably result in multiplication of mitochondria,

which have their own DNA and RNA and replicate independently of the cell.

Additionally, thyroid is known to enhance cell oxidation of sugars and theirfore

adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production. In this way cell energy production is

probably markedly increased.

Through these mechanisms, the therapy of Dr. Max Gerson appears to:

a) reduce serum toxins to eliminate chronic challenge to damaged normal cells.

b) improve cell potassium ion content

c) reduce cell sodium content

d) reduce cell swelling through improved water structuring

e) increase cell mitochondria count and activity; and

f) supply micro-nutrients necessary for cell energy production and repair.

The contribution of low serum toxin leels by regular administration of coffee

enemas is basic to increased cell energy production, enhanced tissue repair and

regeneration which have been observed clinically to result from the

administration of the combined regime of Dr. Gerson.

The introduction of 32 fluid oz (l litre) of coffee solution into the colon will

Coffee Enemas

Coffee Enemas were in the Merck Manual (the Drs. book of whinges and their

cures) up until the early 1970s.... I assume that since there is neither a

patent available on water nor coffee... this could be one of the reasons for its

withdrawal.... my own cynical view entirely.

for one enema.

3 Tablespoons of Organic medium grind and roasted coffee

1 litre of water

Boil water in saucepan add the coffee... boil rapidly with lid off for 5 mins.

Then place on very very low simmer (I use a heat diffusing pad between the

burner and the pot) with the lid now ON the pot... simmer very low for 20-25

mins.

Allow to cool..... seive thru a fine mesh .. like a nylon jelly bag (pair of

tights would do... yipes)... add a bit more water to the grounds, repeat the

seiving.. adding what ever amount of water to make up to the l litre you started

with. The mixture should just be at warm temperature body heat like a baby's

bottle.

Get an enema bag or bucket any type will do. Lay on your right side (this is

contrary to other enemas as you do not want the liquid to go up into the

descending colon, but stay in the the area of the sigmoid colon.

If you cannot retain the entire l litre in one go, then do two lots of 500 mls,

as long as you retain it for l5 mins each time. If you get cramps just take

deep breaths, you can leave the tubing in the rectum, clamped or unclamped.. or

take it out, but at least by leaving it in.. if the pressure builds up you don't

waste the coffee if you have to 'abandon the coffee' before the 15 mins are up.

If you have a fax machine I will fax the details from the book to you or anyone

else who is interested.

As I use it on a daily basis. what I do is make 4 lots in one go and keep it in

the fridge (no longer than 4 days) ie 12 tablespoons coffee boiled up as

directed above in 1 litre of water, then I divide it into 4 measures of 250, by

making 4 marks on a 1 litre bottle, this is then in concentrate form . All I do

is take it out of the fridge pour 250 mls of the coffee mixture into 750 mls of

warm water and its ready to go, I just couldn't be bothered with making up each

batch singly... but for the first time its quite appropriate or until you decide

its worth it.

A friend of mine suffers terribly with migranes and when she feels one might be

coming she does coffees like mad... and would never go back to the way she was

before... once they started there was no doubt that they would hit and disable

her for at least 3 days.. this way she has cut her attacks to several a year

rather than several a month.. I am still trying to convince her to look more

deeply into the stealth virus issue with me... but in the meantime will have to

prove the concept to her by getting better myself... still.. she did listen to

me on the coffee business.... boy did she reluctantly listen.. now she is the

biggest convert.

hope this helps

One small addition. Use only plain coffee. I once heard of

someone who used flavored coffee -- hazelnut or Irish Creme -- and he

said the strange side effects were a real drag.

Isn't all that many enemas habit forming? Are they really good for you to do it

that much?

Cheri,

<Does this also give you the caffeine jitters like drinking too much

coffee?>

No. The caffeine just stimulates the liver into opening the bile ducts and

getting rid of toxins. I always feel good afterwards, " up " in a calm way. It

will bring down any low-grade cfs fever I get immediately.

Does this also give you the caffeine jitters like drinking too much

coffee? I've been avoiding drinking caffeine-laden products for a

long time, this enema intrigues me but don't want to start getting

the caffeine highs again :-)

---Hi Cheri, The information that James Balch,M.D,gives in his book

specifically states that the coffee retention enema does NOT go

through the digestive system,

and thus does not act as a stimulant,

unlike the coffee beverages, it rather stimulates both the liver and

gall-bladder to release unwanted toxins...

which are then flushed from the body.

It's primary action is to rid the liver of impurities!

If you are apprehensive about using coffee there are some other

enemas that can be effectively used as a detox as well,

however according to the good doctor, coffee is by far the best. I

personally know numerous people who have used them before and after

surgery to neutralize the harmful effects of the drugs, relieve the

accompanying headaches, etc. in fact the lady from this list who

initially emailed me for the information has used them with great

success for drug detox.

Thanks for the information - I may get bold and try it. I was just

concerned about the caffeine, since I have been trying to eliminate

caffeine from my diet. I didn't understand how it would have

different effects, depending on which end I took the coffee :-)
