Guest guest
Wondering if anyone has any further information... I have a thyroid condition (Hashi's/Hypo's - underactive thyroid)and I have read on an alternative health site that extensive doses of Vitamin C can disrupt thryoid hormone production. They recommended not taking any higher dose than 2 grams a day. I'm currently taking 10 grams a day. I've asked several alternative health practitioners about this and they said they never heard about it. On some of the Vitamin C sites, I haven't seen any mention of Vitamin C and thyroid disease. And the majority of alternative health sites or thyroid sites I've seen, also don't mention anything about. Has anyone heard of this before and know why Vitmain C would disrupt thyroid hormones? Thanks! Mary
