Thanks for any impute. Donna > A few suggestions: 1. Use ascorbic acid crystals & mix with water. Sip the solution slowly. Start with a weak solution (1/4 tsp per cup & gradually increase strength. I use 1 heaping teaspoon of C in 20 ounces of water & use a water chaser to get the acid off my teeth. 2. Take the vitamin C tablets with food & not on an empty stomach. 3. If you drink milk, take vitamin C with milk instead of water. 4. Use buffered Vitamin C (Magnesium or Calcium Ascorbate) instead of ascorbic acid in #1 or 2 above. 5. See http://www.doctoryourself.com/tabtaking.html from Frank's last post (Doctor Yourself Newsletter) When I was younger, I took about 6,000 mg of vitamin C, twice a day. Now (age 58) I normally take about 30,000 mg of vitamin C each day throughout the day & not in 2 big doses. When I am sick, I need more. Guest guest
Hello Donna Did you take them on an empty stomach. Nausea is common if you take vitamins with an empty stomach and vitamin C is an acid which needs to be taken with food to buffer the stomach lining. Hope this helps Best wishes Chris Everything you'll ever need on one web page from News and Sport to Email and Music Charts http://uk.my.
