? shingles---- Lysine is commonly used to fight herpes infections

The stuff I read about Lysine and Proline is that it clears plaque out of

the arteries if used with Vitamin C and that Arginine is the poor mans

" Viagra " !

 

So It may pay to search for more info on these Acids before condemning

them.

 

Those who seek the truth shall be happy; those who shrink from knowledge

may get sick.

herpes infections. I had occasion to use a product called Heart Bar, an

anti-chest-pain sweet bar, containing about 3gms of Arginine per bar.

Shortly after commencing to eat these bars, I experienced my first case of

shingles, mercifully a rather mild case that cleared up quickly. I suspect

that if Arginine initiated the shingles outbreak, Lysine could, very likely,

suppress it.
