---Sheila, James Balch has some good advice in his book " Prescription

for Nutritional Healing, " second edition. My daughterinlaw obtained

it for me just recently. It is a very good alternative reference,

although I don't agree with him on all points,

I find his material overall quite enlightening.

You should be able to obain his books in most any of the

health food stores.

I do know Vitamin Outlet has it for sale right at the moment.

Coffee enemas provide a good detox. It has been used effectively in

cases of Endo and Cancer, perhaps more..those are the two that I'm

aware of.

Was this an N.D. that prescribed it?

I would be interested in knowing.

JoAnn--He was actually an MD. I remembered that point because he had been

educated at Columbia, had a prestigous practice and somehow ended up doing

alternative therapies. He also still could get insurance companies to pay

for traditional testing which he used to prescribe his therapies. He

prescribed steaks for breakfast after coffee enemas. I can't remember why

and his practice was in one of the nicest sections of Manhattan. Maybe

someone reading this will remember. Of course this was more than 9 years ago

that I even saw this special and my memory is usually a fog.

Thanks for the info. I will go to Whole Foods today to see if I can find the

book!
