Guest guest
~~~ I also lost someone - three someone's in fact, to the grim reaper through cancer ..... my sorely missed friend had prostate cancer which once they started poking about with it - (biopsy), spread to his bones ...... I well remember the period when he was told by his oncologist that he was in remission from his cancer and to " get on with his life " but ...... when I spoke to his urologist he said to me " there are to many cook's in this case " and that my friend had indeed got a tumour on his prostate. When he heard this devastating news - (not via me) he deteriorated and eventually was *put down* with a double dose of diamorphine. In the other two cases - one was a friend (54 - lung cancer, smoker) the other a relative (62 - lung cancer, non-smoker) they both died (about the same time) last year after much suffering through totally useless chemo*therapy*. Would I be thought of as naive to ponder the idea that surgeon's earn their crust by cutting, and oncologist's ditto by poisoning and burning, and without much of the same, their mega earnings ..... would be lanced ?
