> Drinking Water With Meals - We recommend with our programs that you should

> aim to drink 3 cups of water on waking and then steadily throughout the

> day. Aim for a minimum of 4 swallows every 30 minutes. Drinking water at

> mealtimes however can dilute the hydrochloric acid concentration to the

> point where the enzyme pepsin cannot effectively break down protein into

> smaller partices. Avoid drinking water 30 minutes before and 1 hour after

> meals.

Mercury & Cilantro

>

>

>

> Throughout history, herbs and spices have been used to preserve and enhance

> our foods but research shows that they can offer us much more. An example

> involves the work of Dr. Yoshiaki Omura who discovered, almost by accident,

> that coriander leaves can accelerate the excretion of mercury, lead and

> aluminium from the body. He had been treating several patients for an eye

> infection. After treatment with antibiotics, Dr. Omura found that patients'

> symptoms would clear up and then return within a few months. He found those

> organisms seemed to hide and flourish in areas of the body where there were

> concentrations of heavy metals like mercury, lead and aluminium. Somehow

> the organisms were able to use the toxic metals to protect themselves from

> the antibiotics. While he was testing for those metals, Dr. Omura noticed

> the mercury level in the urine increased after one consumed a healthy

> serving of Vietnamese soup, which contains coriander leaves (AKA Chinese

> parsley, or cilantro).

> Further testing revealed that eating cilantro increased urinary excretion

> of lead and aluminium too. Dr. Omura discovered a cheap, easy way to remove

> toxic metals from the nervous system and body tissue, which is good news

> for those suffering from the ill effect of amalgam dental fillings.

>

> Stored toxins accumulate in vital organs and glands and displace the

> organic nutrients in cellular activities. In other words, they disrupt

> metabolic function. The first and most powerful " detoxification procedure "

> should be the correct Metabolic Typing Program. It is completely natural

> for all of our body cells normalise and detoxify, if given the chance. If

> cellular chemistry is brought into balance, cellular energy will increase

> and allow the natural chelating factors to become available for cells to

> eliminate toxins. Detoxification " procedures " just assist this natural,

> in-born capacity of our body cells. If the organs of detoxification --

> liver, colon, lungs, kidneys and skin, are strong and efficient, there

> isn't a problem. But, if these organs are weak or inefficient, (which is

> often the case), toxins can become " backed up " in the bloodstream. So

> although cells may be eliminating toxins into the bloodstream, they cannot

> leave the body efficiently. This can produce " symptoms of detoxification " ,

> sometimes called a " healing crisis. " The MT detox procedures greatly

> improve the rate of toxin elimination from the body but should only be used

> by those following a metabolic typing program. Why? Because if the body

> chemistry is out of balance, then a type of cellular " starvation " already

> exists and too many detox procedures may worsen metabolic imbalances and

> nutritional reserves.

>

> Recipe for Cilantro Pesto

> 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 cup of almonds, cashews, or other nuts, 1 cup packed

> fresh coriander leaves, 2 tbspns lemon juice, 6 tbspns olive oil

> Blend coriander and olive oil. Add other ingredients and process to a lumpy

> paste. Adjust consistency by altering the amount of olive oil and lemon

> juice, but keep the 3:1 ratio of oil to juice. Dr. Omura used the

> equivalent of 2 T.spns daily.

>

> The fresh herb can be eaten raw, in soup, or salad, or as garnish with

> almost any dish.

> You can also buy good quality cilantro and chlorella supplements &

> tinctures.
